About Nutri-Insights
Hi, I'm Max T. I am 11 years old and I have always cared about eating healthy. One day I learnt that a lot of popular foods are ultra-processed and full of unhealthy ingredients. I wanted to raise awareness so that other people can also make healthy choices about what they eat. That's why I made Nutri-Insights. What I want to achieve: I want every person who picks up a packet to be able to understand it in under ten seconds. Not a lecture, not a diet plan — just a clear answer to "how processed is this, and what is actually in it?" My goals for Nutri-Insights are simple. First, cover the everyday foods people really buy, not just the obvious junk food, so the scores are useful on a normal shop. Second, explain every single ingredient in the dictionary in plain English, with a kids version for anyone who wants it. Third, keep the whole site free and free of adverts, because information about food should not cost money or be sponsored by the companies making the food. Longer term, I would love Nutri-Insights to be used in schools. If children learn to read a label the same way they learn to read a clock, ultra-processed food loses a lot of its power. I also want to keep growing the meal planner so that swapping to less processed meals feels easy and cheap, not like a punishment. Most of all, I want people to feel more in control. I am not trying to tell anyone what to eat. I just think everyone deserves to know what is in their food before they decide. Thanks for reading, and thanks for caring about what is in your food. Small changes really do add up.

What I believe
- •Real food first. The shorter and more recognisable the ingredients list, the better.
- •No scare stories. Scores come from published data and are explained, never guessed.
- •Progress, not perfection. Swapping a few products a week already makes a difference.
- •Everyone should understand it. That's why there's a kids mode across the whole site.
